Rosemary Scofield (HERA) and Suzanne Wilkinson (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering - University of Auckland) recently received “hot off the Pearson press” copies of the 2nd edition of their book Management for the New Zealand Construction Industry. The official publication date is set for February after which the book will be available for purchase in bookstores.
The second edition updates the 2003 environments and includes new chapters on Offsite construction, Sustainability and Asset and Facility management. It provides a systematic and comprehensive overview of the basics of management for students in construction and construction-related disciplines.
The text is intended as a reference for students studying degrees, diplomas and certificates in construction management, quantity surveying, civil engineering, property, planning and architecture.
